Attended an Islamic seminary and attained licenses in Qur'an memorization, the Seven Qur’anic Readings (al-Qira’at al-Sab’), ‘Alimiyyah (Islamic scholarship), and other related fields.
Completed the MA Degree in Islamic Studies at SOAS University of London where he focused on the study of the Qur’an.
Having a keen interest in education, he supplemented his Islamic studies by completing a Diploma in Education and Training and achieving Qualified Teacher Status.
Currently based in London where he teaches Qur’an, Hadith, and Islamic Studies at both a secondary school and Islamic seminary. He is also a volunteer imam/khateeb, publication editor for several Muslim organizations, and appears on various TV channels.
